Jill played Emily in Our Town at Maloney H.S. in 1977.

Emily: "Oh, earth, you are too wonderful for anybody to realize.... Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it--every, every minute?"
Stage Manager: "No. The saints and poets, maybe...."

On earth you were goodness and love, Jill. Now, you are with the saints, but you'll be my dearest Emily forever.

Jill was the first friend I made at MHS, and it was because she was kind enough to reach out to me. We shared some wonderful times throughout high school, college, and beyond. She was a good, loyal friend whose wit and willingness to be up for any adventure I loved. The world is now just a bit smaller, sadder, and somewhat out of balance with her passing. Jack, she may have been your #1 fan. And Anne, you were the sister she was so happy to have gained. Know that her "gang" at Maloney will always remember her.

Before my retirement from the Board of Ed, I had many pleasant conversations with Jill. She was such a gentle soul. May she rest in peace.

Jill was a great friend and co worker with my husband and myself. We often would share conversation at A& A Restaurant, her favorite place to take her Aunt on a Friday night. I miss those days. Sincerely, Kathy Hansen

I am very sorry I will not be able to attend Jill´s service as I am out of the state at this time. I worked with Jill at the Board of Education and always enjoyed my conversations with her. She had a soft, gentle, kind soul. My deepest sympathy.
