I was saddened to see that your dad had passed away in June. Though I knew him, my dad (the late John Parylak) knew him quite well. A corner of my dad's property on Celestial Lane (where I now live) bordered your dad's property. I remember when my dad wanted to add a shed to his property, he had to appear at a town hall meeting to seek special permission since there wasn't a house on his property at that time. Your dad was kind enough to come along with us to speak on my dad's behalf. My deep sympathies for your loss. Mr Lipka will be missed.

Sending you my heartfelt sympathy. While watching the video of photos of your family, it reminded me of how precious memories are. May these memories bring you comfort.
Most Sincerely,

This is Fred Rossomando. I play piano for many years at Hamden Benchmark. John was terrific guy. We shared many stories. He always liked "Gonna Sit Right Down and Write myself a Letter". I played it for him all the time. I even played it in his honor again this past Wednesday! I will miss him and his loyalty to listening to me play piano. My deepest condolences!
