Joseph A. Migliore Sr.

Joseph A. Migliore, Sr., 68, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. Born in Meriden, CT, on June 5, 1955, he was the son of Anna (Calabrese) Migliore and the late Joseph Migliore. He had resided in Meriden all his life and graduated from Platt High School class of 1973. Joseph was employed by Thurston Foods for over 30 years and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Joe loved baseball, movies and dining out but most of all, spending time with his beloved family and his grand dogs.

He is survived by his only son, Joseph Migliore, and his wife Shannon, but he was a father figure to many; his two sisters, Maryanne Garrity and her husband Bernie and Diane Dane and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend Doris Johnson and her daughter CC.

His family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6th at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Mt. Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden, CT 06451.
