Joyce Goldberg Obituary
She was born Jan. 2, 1941, a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Whiteman) Ingman. Joyce was a graduate of Nathan Hale-Ray High School in Moodus. She retired from Zygo Corporation, and prior to that owned From Better Times, an antique shop in Wallingford. Joyce enjoyed time with family and friends, reading, treasure hunting at flea markets, baking pies, traveling, Champagne Saturdays with her girlfriends, and supporting animal rescue efforts.
As the heart of her family, she was always there in every way and will be deeply missed. She was so happy to have found Tom, the love of her life, with whom she shared the last 34 years.
She is survived by her loving children, Meg Sweeney, Ralph Sweeney, and Erik Ingman and his companion, Chris St. Germaine, all of Meriden; her beloved grandson, Jason Tsangarides; her companion, Thomas Lumley; her nieces, Amy Merritt and Margot Pierce; and her nephew, Bill Collings. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Beverly Collings; and cousin, Fred Mansour Jr.
The family would like to thank the Staff at MidState Medical Center, Elim Park, and the Franciscan Life Center.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave., Meriden, CT 06451.

I´ve had these vintage picture discs that my Mother willed to me before she passed.
We finally put them up a few days ago right above Papas & Nanas chair ... The last time I hung these was at her house so many many years ago shortly after she moved in. She and I both had a very special love for these. I cherish every memory of us hanging all sorts of beautiful things when you had bought your first house. Some of my loveliest memories
I miss you Dear Mother, more than anything can describe. I know you will be looking over me today as you always do and I love you for that.

To Erik, Chris, and family. Ms. Joyce seemed like a wonderful woman. I can see her life and beauty in the recent pictures you guys have shared. I wish I could have been there in person for support during these very difficult days. I don't think Joyce was truly ready to answer God's call home. You boys cared for her wonderfully, and I know she felt your love strongly during her final time as an earthbound angel.
