To the Caffrey family... I am very sorry to learn of Kevin's passing. I wrestled with both Kevin and John back in the late 70's. Both were excellent wrestlers and more importantly just good people. Kevin was very hard on me at times but I later learned it was because he wanted me to reach my potential as a wrestler. He could pick on me but no one else could even think about it !!! Please be comforted that he is now at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

He's been a true blessing in so many people's lives!

I am so sorry that we ALL have lost touch and that I wasn't there for your family like I should have been, I hate knowing that you all went thru this all of your friends (sadly, I'm referring to myself and for that I am so very Sorry) - I believe you ALL know that I would have been there if we hadn't lost touch. I've always been there before & will always be here, I'm just sorry that I didn't keep in touch better before this very painful tragedy and I am so sorry for that! I remember all the gatherings at my house and all the fun times we had (camping :) going out for drinks :) going to watch fireworks, staying up late when we lived at Rory Cove)! Tracy, you & the kids know that you're like a 2nd family to me! KEVIN was a good man and a great Karaoke Sinatra singer! I'm glad that he was a part of my family's life and I hope that we all can continue to pick back up where we left off and renew our relationship - I have missed your family! Kevin has touched a place in my heart and he will always be remembered! R.I.P. My friend!

Our sympathies to the Caffrey family. Kevin was such a great person with a very kind heart. And as seems to be the case with everyone from the neighborhood, we'll always remember trumpets, wrestling and football jerseys when we think of Kevin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Kevin's entire family, both near and far, I give my most heart felt condolence. I was a neighborhood friend. Although many years have gone by, I remember listening to the trumpet playing from the Caffrey's backyard, cheering at the wrestling matches and just hanging out as neighborhood friends do. I am very saddened by the news of his passing but the memory of Kevin and the thought of days gone by made me smile. God bless Kevin and much love and peace to his family.
