Laura Carter Obituary
Born in Meriden on May 10, 1951, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Gladys A. Carter. She was a lifelong resident of Meriden and graduated from Maloney High School. She attended South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church.
Laura enjoyed drawing art, loved to dance, and spending quality time with her family. She especially enjoyed spreading joy to all she met.
Laura is survived by her nieces, Crystal L. Jackson (David), Melissa R. Zoni (David), Jessica L. Brisk- Cross (James) and Amia G. Serio, and her nephews Jeffrey Spencer, Jr. (Caroline), Blake Spencer (Melinda) and Paul Serio, Jr. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sandra E. Chalue and Cynthia J. Spencer- Serio (Paul Sr.), her brother in laws, Thomas Neill and Jeff Spencer, Jr. and many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Christine Carter Neill.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside service to be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden CT, 06450, on Friday, May 20th at 11:30am. Laura asked everyone to dress comfortably, like you were going to a picnic.
