Linda Maestrini Obituary

MERIDEN - Linda J. (Johns) Maestrini, 56, of Pearl St., beloved wife of Leonard F. Maestrini, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, surrounded by her loving family at Elim Park in Cheshire.
Born in New Haven, Dec. 1, 1950, the daughter of Dolores (Cornwall) Johns, of Wallingford and the late Frederick Johns, she was raised in North Haven, was a graduate of North Haven High School and had been a Meriden resident for many years. She had been employed as a driver of special education students with the Double AA Transportation Company and New Britain Transportation Company for many years until her retirement.
Besides her husband, Leonard and her mother, Dolores, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Allyson and Robert Maraday of Wallingford; her son, Eric Beebe and his fiancée, Deborah Schei-the of Meriden; her granddaughter, Tiffany Maraday; her three brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy and Cathy Johns of Hamden, Kevin and Tracy Johns of Danielson, and Craig and Erika Johns of North Haven; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. www.wallingfordfh.com

Linda and I worked together at NBT before she retired. We talked often and she spoke of you all so lovingly. Lenny we went to the Barn one Saturday before you left and had a time to remember. In our thoughts and prayers.
