Louise Sirica Obituary
Mrs. Sirica was born Oct. 15, 1920, in New Haven, daughter of the late Gaetano and Louise (Miranda) Donnaruma. She was a founding member of the Naugatuck Emblem Club, a member of the Ladies Aux of the Christoforo Columbo Society and a member of the Farnam Neighborhood Assoc. and a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church.
She is survived by two sons, Steven "Bud" Sirica and his wife, Dana of Naugatuck, Andrew Sirica and his wife, Amber of Key Largo, Fla.; one daughter, Lois Carrier and her husband, David of Southington; one brother Vincent Donnaruma of Westbrook; one sister, Marie Iorillo of Cheshire; six grandchildren, Leslie Boutot, Lynn Potamis, Jessica, Rachael, Allison, and Aryn Sirica; three great-grandchildren, Natalie and Colleen Boutot and Micaela Potamis; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Joseph Donnaruma of New Haven; and two sisters, Josephine Ney of Hamden and Lucille Krukowski of Cheshire.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Homes, 82 Fairview Ave., to St. Vincent Ferrer Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to: The American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr, Wallingford, CT 06492.

Bless you and your wonderful husband Jerry. My Dad worked alongside Jerry for a number of years and I was always awestruck by the sight of him tending meters downtown on his motorcycle. For me, my Dad, and Jerry, those really were the good old days. I sure miss those wonderful days when time almost stood still and didn't seem to matter. We were all too busy smiling and enjoying life to notice. Sending peace and love to the Sirica family. RIP, Louise and Jerry
