Mark Camp Obituary
Born in Meriden, he was the son of Raymond and A r l e n e( L a R o c k )Camp of FL and resided in Meriden all of his life. He was a graduate of Maloney High School and was a member of the Meriden Elks Club and the Polish Knights Club.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two sons, Joseph and Matthew Camp of Wallingford; a grandson, Mark R. Camp III of Wallingford; two sisters, Laura C. Stott and Michael Haskell of Georgia and Lisa Camp of South Florida; one brother, Michael R.Camp and Sandy Seidel of Southington, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Mark R. Camp Jr.
Friends and relatives are invited to call at the John J.Ferry & Sons Funeral Home,88 East Main St. Meriden, CT 06450 on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m.Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Florida Brain Cancer 5k, c/o Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, 1717 Rhode Island Ave., N.W. Mark, you will never be replaced. You were truly an amazing, caring and loving person (a "One In A Million"). You never complained and always found a reason to smile, no matter what. You will live on thru our 2 sons, Joey and Matthew, the most precious gifts you could have given me. We will truly miss you, but the memories and the love you gave, will carry us thru. RIP Mark, we love you.

My heart goes out to the Camp Family. Mark was so much a part of the family. I really feel honored that I knew him even though such a short time. We had many laughs, and some tears. Many beers and lots of fun at the Rolly Roundup. He was looking forward to going again next year. He will be missed!

I feel really lucky to have known Mark......he was funny, kind and of course charming as ever with that great smile. My favorite thing about Mark was how he could make you feel like you had been friends for years with his warmth and kindness. Gotta love that guy and he will be greatly missed! It saddens me deeply that Mark was called from this life far too early. We lost touch but he will always remain dear to me regardless of time or distance. My deepest condolences to his family, especially his children.

Sleep peacefully my Buddy! Fish, hunt, ride your bike and have a Budlite! You were everyone's strength, even when you fought like an "Ox" to hold your own!! The most caring, loving, giving and compassionate man and friend I EVER met.
