Mary Sieracki Obituary

MERIDEN - Mary Elaine Sieracki, 85, beloved mother of Robert and Linda, passed peacefully while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015.

Born Aug. 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William and Molly (Suzio) Smith. She is also predeceased by her loving sister, Lenora Carbone; and brother-in-law, James Fredrick, Sr. She was a life time resident of Meriden and a proud parishioner of St. Joseph's Church.

"Pony", as she was known to by her friends, is survived by her daughter, Linda Sieracki Grant and her partner, Leonard Sobiesky, of Meriden; son, Robert F. Sieracki, Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Plymouth; a sister, Frances Frederick, of Meriden; a brother-in-law, Ralph Carbone Sr., of Meriden; five grandchildren, Sara Rusate and husband, Steve, Molly Moorer and husband, Stephen, Daniel Sieracki and wife, Michelle, Jacquelyn Phillips and husband, Shane, and her "Little Anne" Sieracki; six great-grandchildren, Isabella and Benjamin Rusate, Dillyn and Braylen Moorer, Jack Sieracki and Charles Phillips; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life with a Mass of Christian burial to be held on Monday, Jan. 19, at10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. To send an online expression of sympathy, please visit
