I was so sad to hear about Mary. Mary was the light that shined bright at MidState Medical Center. I looked forward to her volunteering on Thursdays, where she mastered every job I gave her. Her sharp mind and creativity was very impressive. She knew everyone, and spoke proudly of her family, especially her grand kids. Her bright and caring spirit was the highlight of my Thursdays! The small gifts I gave her on her birthday and Christmas was something I enjoyed tremendously because she was like a kid on Christmas morning when she opened up her gifts. She appreciated her holiday brooches and scarves so much and wore them with pride. I will miss that smile of hers and the excitement she showed. She is one very special lady and I am truly blessed to have known her. She taught me so much about life. I will truly miss her. My condolences to all who knew Mary.
