Michael O’Dea Obituary
Born in Meriden on Feb. 24, 1964, Mike was the son of his late Yvonne and Edwin O'Dea. He had resided in Meriden all his life and graduated from Maloney High School in 1982; Mike played linebacker for their football team. A unique soul, Mike was a funny guy and certainly loved to play practical jokes on his friends and family. He was quite the story teller or had to be the life of the party wherever he went. One never knew when to expect him to "pop-in" just to say hello. His presence here will be missed.
He is survived by his son, Patrick; and his brother, Larry O'Dea, his wife, Sharon, of Florida; nieces and nephew, Heather, Amanda and Ryan. He is also predeceased by his brother, Billy.
Final arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers/gifts, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut.

How sad to hear, and now read of Mike's sudden passing. His old buddy Pebbles and I will also miss his laugh and great spirit for things in life. So sad to learn of Michael's passing. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I have very fond memories and thought of him often. Truly one of the nicest guys I know.
