Olga Chrzanowski Obituary

NEW BRITAIN - Olga (Demetro) Chrzanowski, 87, of New Britain, widow of Frank Chrzanowski, Sr., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. A New Britain resident most of her life, Olga is a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1943. She was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church in New Britain; a member of St. Olga Sisterhood at the church; and was a member of the Stanley Seniors.

Surviving is a son, Frank Chrzanowski Jr., and his wife, Emilia, of Wallingford; three grandsons, Jason Chrzanowski and his wife, Laura, of Ossining, N.Y., Brian Chrzanowski and his wife, Amy, of Bristol, and David Chrzanowski and his wife, Susan, of Simsbury; a great-granddaughter, Mya Chrzanowski; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Frank Chrzanowski Sr., she was predeceased by three brothers, Steven, Walter and Peter Demetro.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 54 Winter St., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.
