Patricia (LaCapra) Cutrali

SOUTHINGTON - Mrs. Patricia (LaCapra) Cutrali, 76, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Richard J. Cutrali.

Mrs. Cutrali was born March 16, 1941 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Rocco and Anna (Iapaluchi) LaCapra. She was a 1959 graduate of Crosby High School. She worked at the former Colonial Bank of Waterbury/Bank of Boston Connecticut for over 20 years. After her retirement, she volunteered at both The Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial in Southington and the Friends of the Southington Library Bookstore. She was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Donna Bowes and her husband, James, of Southington; her son, Mark Cutrali and his wife, Melissa, of Wayne, N.J.; her granddaughters, Meghan Bowes, Colleen Bowes, Brooke Beach, and Briella Beach; her brother, Daniel, of Lakeland, Fla.; and her sisters, Roxanne Anthony, of Plantsville, and Nancy Brouillard and her husband, William, of Waterbury. She also leaves her brothers-in-law, Robert Jennings, Richard Fiorelli, and Bart Cutrali and his wife, Sandra; as well as several generations of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Rocco LaCapra; her sisters, Georgianna Fiorelli and Geraldine Jennings; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Cutrali.

Patricia's family would like to extend their special thanks to the following people: Dr. Edmund Caporaso and his staff; hospice nurse, Jodi, and the Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice Care team; and Doris Brown, her aide, who was truly an angel on this earth.

The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 S. Main St., Waterbury. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury.
