Pierre Rene Langlois II

Pierre Rene Langlois II, 21, of Meriden, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Pierre was born in Meriden, Connecticut, on February 6, 2001, and raised by his Titi Rhea Langlois-Highsmith. He was predeceased by his grandparents Franklin Anibal Bonilla, Diana DeJesus, James Langlois, Sr., as well as his best friend in life Jyineez Cruz.

Besides his titi Rhea and uncle Douglas Highsmith, III, he is survived by his siblings-cousins Kevin Levon Pettway, Jr., of Meriden, Analesia Langlois of TN, Christian Langlois of Meriden, Junie Johnson of Hartford, DeeDee Highsmith of Meriden, Amaryliz Dakany Hernandez of Meriden, Arcelia Langlois of Norwich & Olivia Langlois of New Hampshire, parents Pierre Langlois, Sr., of New Hampshire, Diana Bonilla of Meriden, maternal great-grandmother Virginia Moret of Meriden, maternal great-grandfather Victor Carrasquillo, Sr., of Meriden and paternal grandmother Jenny Cooper of Florida.

He is also survived by his long-time girlfriend Sofia Alexandra Moreno and baby girl Olivia "Oli", his only nephew Caiden Russell and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles, friends, and cousins.

Pierre was a brilliant individual, he excelled in school and sports. He played for all the Meriden Youth Leagues, Cuno Basketball, Meriden Raiders Football, Meriden YMCA, and Jack Barry Little League from 3 years old through Middle school.

Anyone who knew Pierre knew how much he loved his family, especially his Titi and for his Titi he was the sun and the moon. Pierre made a habit of driving his Titi crazy and everyone knew it. However, he always knew that no matter what the situation was he could call, and Titi would come running. It's been said that his Titi would move water without bridges when it came to him. Their bond-love was like no other, they enjoyed countless hours on the phone talking about any and everything. Countless shopping trips, movie dates and their last date was to the play Frozen Junior.

Pierre had an incredibly strong bond with his brother Christian. They were like Irish twins. As toddlers they always wore matching outfits and ultimately, they were all they had in their early life. A bond like theirs could never be broken in life or in death.

Pierre was always the class clown; he had such a goofy laugh with such an infectious smile. Even when you were mad at him you couldn't be. To really know him was to love him. He is going to be missed for eternity.

Family and Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden, CT. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 Gypsy Lane in Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
