Regina McManus Obituary
Born in Island Falls, Maine on Dec. 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Jane (Soucie) Raymond. She had resided in Meriden for the past 50 years and graduated from Island Falls Schools. Mrs. McManus was employed by the Bradley Home, retiring in 1997.
Beside her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Colette Cadrain, of Wolcott and Carol McManus, of Meriden; three sons, Michael McManus and his wife, Christine, of Southington, David McManus and his fiancé, Laura and Donald McManus and his companion, Kristen Dumas, all of Meriden; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Jeanette Prescott and Gloria Slaunwhite, both of Crystal, Maine; three brothers, Rudolph "Pit" Raymond, of Island Falls, Maine, Albert "Bert" Raymond, of Sherman, Maine, and Rodney "Bobby" Raymond, of Patten, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 9 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. I waited on her many times when I worked at Barkers. Then she waited on me when I bought my shirts at Mostly Men, Always said it the way it was, that's what I liked about Regina, R.I.P. Regina
