I recently read of Bobs wife passing and recognized the name. Bob was my teacher at Fox Meadow School. He was the nicest teacher I ever had. He always took his time with me. I want to thank him for steering my life in the right direction. Rest in Peace.

Not a day goes by, not a single day, when I don't feel your presence around me. Losing you left a void that can never be filled and I try to remind myself how lucky I was to have had you in my life.

My greatest comfort is the thought that I'll see you again someday but until then you'll live in my heart.

Love you Bobby, now & forever, Robert

Sorry to learn of the passing on of Bob. It has been many years since seeing Bob as we were grammar and high school friends who grew up in the same neighborhood. Always a happy, gracious person with a good heart. The story of his life reflects he never lost that great character. My sympathies to all his family and friends. Thanks for sharing the pictures of glimpses in his life.

I don't know where I would be or who I would have become if it wasn't for his influence, love, and guidance throughout my life. He is loved by many and has spent his life helping others in every way possible.

Bob, you were my friend, my father, and my role model. My life was made better because you were in it.

Thank you for everything you have done and I will miss you greatly!

It was with great sadness we learned that our friend and neighbor Bob had passed away. During our stay in the US, we lived in Lincoln Avenue and Bob was one of our very good neighbors and friends helping out on our settling in a new country. We have often ever since visited Bob when we were back in White Plains, and Bob was always very interested in how we were doing and how our son Anders was growing up and doing in school. We will miss him.

Even in his high school yearbook Bob listed "teacher" as his desired profession, it was all he ever really wanted to do. And the quotation he selected suited him very well.

Robert was so many things to me... He was a teacher, a friend and a mentor. He was the one in a million type of guy. Always had your back. As Peter Pan always says.... NEVER say goodbye, because saying goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting. I will never forget Robert and never say goodbye. He will always have a place in my heart. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Bob was by far the most caring and generous person I've known in my life. He was my teacher at the Alternative H.S. and helped change my path in life. His support and caring continued on throughout my life.I always considered him my second father as well as friend. My world will be darker without having his beacon of light in my life anymore. RIP my dearest friend you will be missed by many.

Robert was not just a friend to us but he was one of our Gay Dads. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness and wisdom that he taught and left within us when he stepped in after our dad passed away. David and him did this without reservation and became someone to us that we will always cherish. We can't pick the family we're born into, but we can pick the ones that make the best family of all. We were so honored to have been picked by him to become part of his family as sons and friends till the end.

He will be missed by everyone he touched, form the people he served dinners to who where misfortunate, to the students lives he changed, to the friends he made along the way in life, and to his life partner Robert he left behind. He was a kind and loving man that touched so many lives and we are thankful and grateful to say we knew him and loved him.

Peace and Love - Back at You Robert
Love always
