Robert Oblon Obituary

MERIDEN - Robert F. Oblon, 65, of 42 Oregon Ave., husband of Christine F. Oblon, died on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at MidState Medical Center after a prolonged illness.

Born in Meriden in Sept. 13 1946, he was the son of Rose and Edward Oblon and had been a lifelong Meriden resident. Mr. Oblon was employed by ADF (Allen David Fence) for 20 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the U.S. Army.

Besides his wife, Christine; he is survived by three sisters.

There will be a private service for the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450.
