I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Zysk when I brought Holy Communion to Ms. Lepkowski. He was such a king and loving man...a true gentleman. He visited Saint Mary Church a couple of times after Ms. Lepkowski passed away. Please know that Mr. Zysk will be remembered in my prayers. A candle will burn for him in Saint Mary Church. I just wish I could give him one more hug before he went to be with our Lord. Now he can rest in peace.

Remember some of the "Mud Bowl" games at Brookside Park. Rest in peace, Chuck. So sorry we never got together over the years. Maybe we can get a game in heaven.

"Chuck" Zysk was one of the Pratt Street boys, growing up playing baseball with friends at Brookside Park and an occasional game of whiffle ball behinds Sierings Market.
I was one of those friends and a Meriden High School Class of 1954 classmate. On a recent visit with my brother Joe to see Bob he expressed hope of attending our 60th Class Reunion in October. I will make sure you are remembered my friend.
Bob"Chuck" Zysk, a great guy, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace Chuck, may all your extra points go right thru the uprights and all your drives go right down the middle.
Love and Peace,
Sincerely,
John A. Young
