Salvatore Nuzzo Obituary
Red was born in New Haven on Dec. 10, 1946 and was the son of the late Salvatore Nuzzo and Lucille Pisacano Lawrence. He had worked for Connecticut Container Corporation for 35 years until his retirement as a traffic manager. Red was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He was the father of Salvatore Nuzzo Jr., Jacquelyn (Bill) Carbone and Samantha Nuzzo; grandfather of Kelso and Meadow Carbone, Lucianna and Isabella Nuzzo and the late Luciano Nuzzo; brother of Richard (Betsy) Nuzzo, Denise (Cliff) Castellano and the late Dennis Nuzzo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 12 from the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Interment followed in All Saints Cemetery.

Dearest Nat & Family ~ I just learned of Sal's passing and I am so very sorry for your loss. Sal was a great co-worker and a genuine friend! Regrettably, time caused us to lose touch; but, he will always be fondly remembered. Sending prayers for comfort and peace for you all.

So sorry for the passing of your husband and father. Vin and I are not in CT at this time, but would have attended his services surely.
I enjoyed talking to him outside while we
walked our dogs. He always had kind words.
Sam, I know he meant a lot to you. He will always be there for you and your family. A gentle Breeze that touches your face, a snowflake on your nose, even a single leave that may blow by, will be his way you know.
See you when we return from the South.
