Sean O'Kane Obituary

MERIDEN - Sean M. O'Kane, 49, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018.

Born Dec. 6, 1968, Sean was the son of Wanda J. Campise and Michael O'Kane; brother to Jason E. Barnard; and nephew of Patricia Doll.

He leaves behind his wife, Stacey O'Kane; four children; Michael, Bethany, Shawna, and Ryan; his two favorite cousins, Shelley and Andrew Doll; and aunt, Sharon Stone.

Sean was a loving husband, father, and friend. His laughter and carefree attitude will be severely missed. Sean loved to work outdoors and devoted 17 years to Ed Walsh Little League in Meriden, whether it was helping the kids or doing field work and coaching his sons' team for the last several years. Sean loved art; drawing, painting, music, you name it, his was a very artistic soul. The world lost an amazing man on this day and he will be missed dearly by friends, family, and his "Best Bud", the family dog, Champ. Sean was surrounded by family and friends, especially his best friend and best man, Alan "Chunk" Mitchell, in his final days.

Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported his family in this difficult time; he would be very grateful for your kindness.
