Sharon Augustyniak Obituary
She was born April 8, 1948 in Meriden, a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Knaggs) Dupuis. Sharon worked for the State of Connecticut as a mental health worker in addiction services.
She is survived by two daughters, LeeAnn Barre and Tracy and her husband, Bill Harper; a son, Michael Barre; her sister, Beth and her husband, George Crawford; a brother, Richard Dupuis; five grandchildren, Rachael, Steven, Jonathan, Joseph and Brianna; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Cheryl Hunter. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Susan J. Dupuis.
Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Sunday, April 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. The Rev. Nancy Beckwith will officiate a service at 4 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Relay For Life of Meriden-Wallingford, Team: Susan's Sunrise at http://main.acsevents.org. I was shocked to see Sharon in the obits. I had talked to her not to long ago. I will always remember her and her family. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with the whole family! Love you guys
