Thomas Vogt Obituary
He had resided in Meriden for 40+ years and retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel after 20+ years. He was a talented musician and guitar enthusiast. He was an animal lover and was a true outdoorsman who liked camping and fishing. Tom was also a great mechanic; he enjoyed spending his free time repairing and restoring everything from lawn mowers to pickup trucks.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his father-in-law Chester Mroczka; his children, Robert, James (Jillian) and Tracy; his grandchildren, Isabella, Cameron and Violet; his siblings, Patti, Robert and John (Debbie); and his sister-in-law, Gloria. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Joshua; his brother, Joseph; his brother-in-law, Les McIntyre; and his sister-in-law, Phyllis.
Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450, on Wednesday, July 26th from 9 to 11 a.m. with a service to follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Sorry to hear this. I remember the whole family. I lived next door to you on Belden Rd. When we were young I had a Birthday Party. All of you were there the kids stated jumping on my parents bed. That was the end of my party days. I can even remember us all at the party table. I made contact with Tommy more recently on face book. My condolences to the whole family.
