Timothy O'Mara Obituary
Fidge was born in New Haven on Aug. 17, 1963, son of Daniel F. O'Mara and the late Grace Iamele O'Mara and had worked as a wallpaper hanger. He enjoyed camping, fishing, watersports, spending time with family and friends at the cottage on the Moodus Reservoir, took many vacations with his family and lived his life to the fullest.
He was the brother of Daniel C. (Judith) O'Mara, Donna (Michael) DeCarlo and Jennifer (Michael) Toth; grandson of Mary DiNicola Iamele and the late Nicholas Iamele, Daniel and Anna O'Mara.He was the beloved "Unk T" to Kimberly and Jessica Proto, Brittany and Daniel O'Mara IV, and Starla Toth.
The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff of the I. C. U. at L & M Hospital in New London for the excellent comfort and care they provided.
His funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Monday, Oct. 27. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Therese Church, North Haven. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.

I am truly sorry for your loss I still remember when the family lived on Yale Ave. And I had the pleasure of being in 7th and 8th grade with Timmy what an AWSOME family! he is at rest now always in my thoughts and prayers...God bless all of you

While I am saddened to learn of Tim's passing,I know he is at peace eternal. It's been a long time since seeing Tim,but I have a lot of good memories that he provided. He always had a fun and hearty laugh,and a smile that hinted mischief,and his greeting to me was always "DOCTOR ED"!!! Tim will be missed by all,family and friends! My sincerest Condolences to the O'Mara family!
