Walter Kazersky Obituary

WALLINGFORD - Walter Kazersky, 90, of Wallingford, loving husband of Jane A. (Caivano) Kazersky, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Skyview Health Care Center, Wallingford.

He was born in Meriden on Aug. 1, 1926, a son of the late William and Anna Laput Kazersky. He worked for Pratt & Whitney for 37 years, retiring as NDT Inspector. After retiring he worked at The Hartford as a security officer. He loved NASCAR and made his yearly visit to watch the Daytona 500. He enjoyed car detailing, and was a member of the Wallingford Elks Club and Moose Club.

In addition to his wife, Jane, he is survived by his daughter, Donna Kaluzny and her husband, Tadeusz, of Bristol; his sister, Sophie Hull, of Florida; his grandchildren, Savannah Jane and Hope Ann Kaluzny; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Alexander Kazersky, Helen Kenny, Mary Biladeau, and Natalie Kazersky

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Tuesday, May 30, from 9 until 11 a.m. with a funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden.

Jane,
Gary and I are so sorry to hear of Wallys' passing. He was such a funny guy. One thing I remember you saying about him was the way he vacuumed the rug, the perfect straight lines. That was so funny too us. Prayers going out to you and your family.
