Dear Diana. I am so sorry to hear of Richard passing away. Richard and I grew up together and lived across the street in New Haven. Richard was a special part of my wedding as a groomsman. I had a great time playing softball with him. Richard was like a brother that I never had. Please let his sisters & brothers know that I am thinking of all of them in this hard time. May God bless you & your entire family. Richard will truly be missed. James Donnelly

Diana, Bill and I had many great conversations in the Meriden Park Department garage before work. UCONN basketball and life in general were the subjects. He was a great man and will be missed.

Diana and Family:

Growing up near his relatives, I knew Bill from a young age. I reconnected as a City employee and my husband and I were privileged to be invited to your holiday parties for years. His caring spirit will be remembered by everyone who knew Bill. My deepest sympathies.
