Edward Racz Obituary
Bethlehem, PA - Edward Racz, Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Bethlehem, PA, with his loving wife by his side. Born on October 23, 1948, in Germany, he was the son of the late Eduard and Akulina Racz and the beloved husband of JoAnn (White) Racz, with whom he shared his life since 1992.
Edward's legacy lives on through his children, Michael Racz and his wife Sarah, and Zara Racz and her husband Richard Slater, as well as his adored grandchildren: Elizabeth, Nathan, Anna, and Alexandra. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Roxana Racz of Shelburne and his niece, Rebecca Racz; and his two beloved dogs, Gracie and the late Abby. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stefan George Racz.
Edward grew up in Charlemont, MA and had so many fond memories of his childhood and high school years living in the Shelburne Falls area. A proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Ed had a long and varied career in business and marketing.
No services will be held at this time. Edward's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
