South Deerfield, MA - Gladys died at the age of 92 on May 6th, 2024 at Care One in Northampton. Daughter of Alfred and Irene (Roy) Aubuchon, Gladys was born January 27, 1932.

Gladys was the "matriarch" of Pine Street. She started work at Victory Dress Co., Pro Brush and lastly as an Occupational Therapist at Northampton State Hospital. A loving mother to Sandra and Champ who was an avid reader and loved vacationing especially in Vermont with friends and family. She and Tom ran a ceramic studio in Easthampton and was best known for all the beautiful knitting she did.

A classy and stylish dresser, she never missed a beat!

Predeceased by her husband, Thomas and grandsons Jarrod and Jason Murphy. She leaves daughter Sandra Weaver, son Thomas, grandson Nathan (Tracy), great grandsons Tucker and Cooper, sisters June Aubuchon, Janet Chagnon and brother Gerald and many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Monday May 13 from 9am-10am with an In House service starting at 10am at Wrisley Funeral Home, 90 Sugarloaf Street South Deerfield, with burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boron Street South Deerfield.

Sandy and Champ, sorry for your Mom's passing. She was always so nice to my family, everything from making clothes for Marie's Cabbage Patch kids to knitting a beautiful hat and scarf for JoAnne at least twenty five years ago she still wears today.
She was a special person that will not be forgotten.
