Jane Cherichetti Obituary
Born in Boston on January 27, 1940, a daughter of Walter L. and Evelyn (Brown) York, she grew up in Colrain, MA and graduated from Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls with the Class of 1958. While in high school, Jane was a cheerleader.
On July 2, 1977, Jane married Ronald P. Cherichetti and they enjoyed 38 years together until his death on November 12, 2015. Jane was previously married to Roland H. Bourbeau.
Jane had worked at Athol Travel Agency, Inc. before retiring and had also worked at Liesel's Bridge To Beauty and for a longtime at MacMannis Florist and Greenhouses.
Jane enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, genealogy, traveling, and movies.
She was also a member of the Athol Congregational Church.
Survivors include her son, David Bourbeau and his wife, Florence, of Royalston; daughter, Lori Blanchard of Richmond, NH; grandchildren, Jared Bourbeau of Phillipston, Sarah Bourbeau of Hadley, Ronny Cherichetti of Sturbridge and April Sararia of Minnesota; many great grandchildren; and step children, Ronny Cherichetti and his wife, Penny Lee, of Wareham, Michael Cherichetti and his companion, Linda Hanssen, of Athol, Mark Cherichetti and his wife, Robyn, of Daytona, Florida.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday morning, December 10th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Witty's Funeral Home in Orange with Rev. Beverly Prestwood-Taylor of the Athol Congregational Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol.
Memorial contributions in Jane's memory can be sent to Brookhaven Hospice, 6 Beech Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
