John was a fan of all the Boston sports teams and local high school teams, always glad to catch a game. At one time John belonged to the local softball leagues and played every summer until the leagues dwindled in membership.

Jack was a true friend and brother. We had great times in the 287th MP Company. Like we have said over the years; it was a time you could not read about ,or buy, and we would not trade it for anything. I made the reunion in 2010 and got to see Jack; it was a great time.
"Tough Emblem Charlie" that was Jack, Checkpoint Charlie.
My condolences to the family.

John ("Jack" to those of us that were stationed with him in Berlin) was one of the most fun loving and fun living among our "Band of Brothers" as I'm sure others from the 287th MPC will attest ...he was foremost a GREAT friend with numerous shared experiences... Sincere condolences to his family. Jim Lago

We had a reunion in 2010 here at my home i Gaylord MI, Jack drove over and spent 5 days, we planned to have a 3 day event So I got to spend 2 more days than anyone else. Loved every minute of it.
