Lee R. Sanderson, Sr.

Spicer, MN - Lee R. Sanderson, Sr., 74, passed away August 20, 2024, following a short illness, with his loving wife and family by his side.

Born in Concord, VT, August 19, 1950, he was the son of William Jr. and Jennie (Holmes) Sanderson, attended schools in Massachusetts and graduated from New Salem Academy.

He loved his family, the outdoors, fishing, boating and camping. He met his wife Sandy and they enjoyed traveling the country in their camper for many years. They later settled in Spicer, MN, Sandy's hometown area, and had their getaway camper at the lake.

He is survived by his loving wife, who is an angel and provided the very best care for him until the very end. His mother, Jennie, his children; Lee Sanderson, Jr., Jennifer L. Paynter, Scott Sanderson and wife Brenda, Grandchildren; Alex, Darren, Shawn and Owen, mother of his children, Janice Lupien, all of Orange. Siblings; Lyn (Sanderson) and husband "Chuck" Johnson of Warwick, Lloyd Sanderson of Orange, Lionel and partner Kim (Soderman) of Warwick, Lisa Sanderson and husband Jason Marshall of Leominster, Peggy (Sanderson) Calcari of Athol, many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was proud to be a part of Sandy's family and was very fond of the time spent with her children; Adam Hokom, Angie Hokom and partner Jason Meyer, Andy Hokom and wife Amanda, Jesse Hokom and wife Anna, grandchildren and mother-in-law, Pat Strong, all of MN.

He was predeceased by a son, James Sanderson, father, William Sanderson, Jr. and brother, William Sanderson, III.

There are no calling hours or services.
