Louise E. (Jenney) Samal

Greenfield, MA — Louise (Jenney) Samal, 89, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Poet's Seat Health Care Center. Born in Greenfield on May 20, 1932, she was the daughter of Ronald and Bertha (Tuttle) Jenney.

Louise was a familiar face for many years at the Greenfield Meadows golf course, which she and her husband David owned. She was devout in her Christian faith, reading her Bible daily and attending church weekly. Louise was also known for her crafts, which included needlepoint, crocheting, and ceramics.

Louise leaves behind her son Steven and her two grandchildren, Maghen and Steven, all of Turners Falls. She was predeceased by her husband on November 13, 2008.

Services are private, under the direction of Walker Funeral Home, 14 High Street, Greenfield.

My deepest condolences to Steve and his children. Steve, I remember your mother in her younger years when we dating. She was very sweet and kind to me. I am sorry to hear of her passing. May you find peace in all your wonderful memories of her. So sorry Steve.
