Marily Watson Obituary
Greenfield, MA — Marily A. (Laskoski) Watson, 74, died on 5/28/22 at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield. She was born on February 18, 1948 in Greenfield, MA to Louis "Stubby" Laskoski & Marie (Dupont) Laskoski.
Marily was a graduate of Greenfield High School, and went on to study to become an X-ray technician. She was employed by Cooley Dickinson Hospital for many years. Marily accomplished a great deal in life, considering her handicap of partial and later full blindness. She maintained her independence until later years needing full time care in assisted living.
Marily enjoyed listening to audio books, music & her favorite TV shows. Thursdays were special as her cousins Terry Bartak, Karen Harris, & Denise Elwell would stop in to visit with her favorite popcorn in hand. Most recently, she enjoyed visiting with her out of state family.
Marily is survived by her son Michael Watson, of AL, Daughters Michele (husband Toriano) Jackson of Ft. Riley, KS, Cathy (husband Roy - deceased) Mitchell of Greere, SC, six grandchildren: Brianna, Kylie & Trevor Jackson, and Matthew, Caleb & Madison Mitchell. She also leaves four siblings: brother William Laskoski (wife Madeleine), sisters Sharon Ford (Tom), Nancy Hurlburt (Vern), Lynda Laskoski & many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Marily is preceded in death by parents Louis & Marie Laskoski & her sister Jean (Laskoski) Sanders.
