I remember George and Mary walking hand in hand down Main St. in Ashfield either while they were engaged or recently married; I was 9 years old in 1960-turning 10 in December.
In later years, I remember seeing her at United Bank in Shelburne and was always greeted with her warm, caring smile - remembering, fondly, her days in Ashfield. A beautiful lady both inside and out. Rest in Peace and may God welcome you with a "Well done, good and faithful servant." Kathy O´Donnell-Shippee
