Ronald E. Cromack

Greenfield, MA - Ronald E. Cromack, 63, of School St. passed away Friday January 24, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Montague, July 31, 1961, the son of George and Madeline (Neverett) Cromack. Ron attended local schools and graduated from Franklin County Tech School Class of 1980.

He was a custodian for Pelican Products (formerly Hardigg Industries) for 30 years.

He married the former Doris Baker October 6, 1984.

Ron enjoyed camping each summer at Catamount Sportsman's Club in Colrain and several winter trips to Aruba. He also enjoyed woodworking and following the Red Sox.

Ron leaves his wife of 40 years Dori, his mother Madeline Cromack, his brothers; Scott and his wife Terry and Larry and his wife Sue. He also leaves his mother in-law Irene Baker, brothers in law Jeff Baker and Jim Baker, and sister-in-law Brenda Field. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Ron was predeceased by his father, March 4, 2019.

Services at the Colrain Community Church and burial in North River Cemetery will be held at a later date and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Colrain Community Church 306 Main Rd., Colrain, MA 01340.

My sincere condolences to the cromack family...I worked in roto cast at pelican industry for many years and saw Ron almost daily..always had a hello how are you and continued on his way. He was the most friendly, kind person you could ever meet..sorry to see another former worker pass..
