Susan Pratt Obituary

Susan H. Pratt

Greenfield, MA - Susan Helen (Stasinopoulos) Pratt, 82, of Greenfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Susan was born on July 29, 1942 to Stephen Stasinopoulos and Helen (Sears) Doody in Greenfield where she was raised by her mother and cherished step-father Roy W. Doody. She attended Holy Trinity School, St. Michael's School, and Greenfield High School, graduating in 1960.

In her career as a medical secretary, she held many jobs at local medical and doctors' offices, including Farren Memorial Hospital and Franklin Medical Center, in the switchboard and admitting departments. Susan finally retired in 2014 after many years at Montague Psychological Associates, which she would often say was the best job she ever had.

Sue loved doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, and watching "forensics" shows. An avid bird watcher, she fed "her" birds several times a day. She took great pride in her houseplants and flower gardens and was often the one people called when they had a problem with their plants, at one time having over 100 houseplants in her home. As a proud Leo, Susan enjoyed astrology, star charts, and cats, both large and small. She was also a member of St. Kazimierz Society, where she liked to visit with friends and play KENO.

She is survived by her beloved husband of more than 30 years Raymond Pratt. Her daughters Karyn Andino and Johanna (David) Kosciolek; step-son Ryan Pratt; grandchildren Jessie Gamage, and Vincent, Kyle, Brayden, and Oliver Kosciolek; great granddaughter Audrey Pearson; sisters Judy Nelson and Elinor (Timothy) Thresher; sister-in-law Holly Doody; several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Roy P. Doody.

Abiding by Sue's wishes, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.

She was one of the kindest people I´ve ever known. I worked with her when she came into Buckley Healthcare Center with her nurses she was training. She was always a giver, and loved everyone and respected everyone around her. They will never be another Sue Pratt
