I think of you often and whenever I do, it brings a feeling of comfort and warmth. It's such a good feeling. It's a feeling that puts a smile on my face and warms my heart to the core. Pooh Bear was a fitting nickname for the loving, generous, gentle person that defined little Billy Haskell that lived across the street when we were growing up. You are still surrounding us with love and comfort, I feel a Pooh hug coming on. Miss seeing you in the flesh, grateful for the presence of your spirit. Thank you Pooh Bear/Billy.

My family and I were reminiscing about what a great Turners Falls Indians fan Pooh Bear was throughout the years. I remembered him doing push ups at the football games each time Turners scored a touchdown. Eric told me about what happened to him after his team won their basketball game to make the finals... The game ended and Eric found himself up in the air. He looked down and saw Pooh Bear holding him up! Eric said, "He was just as sweaty as I was!" We laughed about that and I wondered if Pooh Bear ever realized how much of an impact he made on so many people's lives? He was a great guy and will be missed.
