Arturo Martinez age 22 of Porterville CA, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2023. Arturo "Turies" Martinez was born July 22, 2000, in Porterville, California to Richard Martinez and Tonya Emerson. Arturo is survived by his father, Richard Martinez of Porterville; mother, Tonya Emerson of Porterville; stepfather, Niles Emerson of Porterville; older brother, Jeremiah Martinez and his fianc Azlynn of Fresno; and his sister Khloe Martinez of Porterville.
Arturo was best known for his creative sense of humor and unique artwork. He spent his younger years reading books and creating science projects. Arturo was surrounded by a loving and supportive family who encouraged him to live his dreams and achieve every goal. Arturo desired to finish school, attend college, and apply his talents in art, music, and fashion.
A message from his family - "If anyone has ever had any thoughts of suicide or any thoughts of being lonely, if you think that nobody loves you, that nobody cares about you, that you're not wanted in this world, that you don't know who you are, and you're confused. I would love to see you, hug you, and embrace you.

Arturo's visitation will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, CA on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A service will be held at Myers Chapel in Porterville, CA on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville, CA.
