With hearts full of sorrow and love, we remember Ava Rae Castaneda of Terra Bella, California, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the tender age of 4.
Ava was the beloved daughter of Raymond and Chantelle Castaneda, and the cherished little sister of Shaylee Doty and Alexia Castaneda, and especially of baby sister Jayde Castaneda, whom she adored beyond words. She brought joy and light to a large and loving family, including devoted grandparents, a caring uncle and aunt, and countless cousins who will always remember her playful spirit and gentle heart.
Ava had a deep love for animals and all of natures little creatures--- especially horses and frogs, which she loved to search for on her many adventures. She had a rare gift for making friends wherever she went, her bright smile and kind heart touching everyone she met.
A memorial service to celebrate Ava's life will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at First Assembly of God Church, 105 E. Olive Ave, Porterville, California 93257. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville, California.
Though her time with us was far too short, Ava's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
