Buddy Anderson Obituary

Buddy was born in England, AK on February 10, 1938 to Alvin and Imogene Anderson. He lived in Springville, CA during his childhood years, making life-long friends. His love affair for logging, truck driving and the forest first began in these early years at Harris Brothers Lumber Company and Sawmill.
He graduated from PHS in 1957. He had many jobs during this time from working at the Strathmore packing house to being a fire patrolman for the U.S. Forest Service for two seasons. In 1961 he joined the U.S. Air Force and travelled to Korea, France and various other places.
When he returned he began working fwith his father for PH Harris driving a water truck on the reservation. In February of 1965 he met the love of his life Ruby Jones and they were married November 26, 1965. After caring for foster children they were finally able to conceive a daughter Shelley and two short years later a son, Buddy Jr.
During those years Bud began logging with his father and brother Billy Wayne Anderson. Bud excelled as a husband and a father and could be counted on by his friends. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years Ruby Anderson. His daughter Shelley Parker and her husband Dustin, their two children Jadah and Sheltin, his son Buddy Anderson Jr. and his wife Christina. He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Imogene Anderson and survived by his brother Bill, sisters Carolyn Church, Janet Paisano and many nieces and nephews.
Flowers can be sent to Whitehurst-Lloyd-Peters. Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
