Mike Studdert died

peacefully March 4, 2025. Mike was born December 18, 1936, in Petaluma, California, as the only

child of George and Bessie (née Stone) Studdert, where he attended St. Vincents High School and lettered in three sports. He

earned an Associates of Arts degree from Santa Rosa Junior College. Mike was a wonderful father who set high standards as he and wife June raised their four sons He was also a natural born engineer and a Mr. fix-it who prided himself on being a great

problem solver throughout his business career. Mike rose in the ranks as an aero space engineer

with HITCO Aerospace where he proudly worked on projects for

NASA and the US Air Force.

Mike always had aentrepre-

neurial spirit. He left that successful career to follow his dream of owning his own business. With

his family, Mike successfully ran the town sporting goods store,

Maples Sports Shop in Porterville CA for many years. Dad flourished running Maples. He also

owned and operated a walnut orchard.

Mike enjoyed his later years continuing to be a key advisor to his children's businesses and with his new wife Judy, traveling several years up to Alaska making his mark working summers at Denali

National park. Mike is survived by his sons, Andrew (Mary Pat),

Patrick (Susan), George (Jan), and David (Cindy), nine grand-children, and eight great-grand-children who all loved his wit and generosity. He was such a

good, decent and principled man who always fought the good fight.

Rest in peace Dad, you've earned it.
