Greg McQueen Obituary

Gregory Mark McQueen

Greg McQueen, 75, a lifelong resident of Lindsay, passed away at home Thursday morning, September 25, 2025.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Greg graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, in 1971 with a degree in History. Shortly after he married his wife Kathryn Kathy McQueen.

Greg's professional journey began in the banking industry before he assumed leadership of his fathers trucking company. Following his retirement from business, he continued his work to the community by working as a police officer.

Deeply devoted to Lindsay, Greg was active in numerous civic organizations, served on the school board, and held the role of president of the hospital board for many years, where his leadership left a lasting impact.

An exceptionally talented musician, Greg also loved the beach and was happiest on the golf course. He will be remembered for his striking blue eyes, his sense of humor, and his generous heart.

Greg is survived by his wife Kathy, and their two children, Kevin and Tessa, in addition to many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Family invites friends to join in a celebration of Gregs life on Friday, October 17 from 1 to 3 PM at Chinas Restaurant in Lindsay.
