Harry Loren Likewise

1948 - 2016

Harry Loren Likewise entered into eternal rest on September 17, 2016 at the age of 68 after a long battle with heart disease. Harry was born to Norman and Nelda Likewise on June 22, 1948 in Porterville, California.
He graduated from Porterville High School in 1966 and was a member of the Panther Band. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Army. He was stationed at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, assisting in the treatment of those injured in Vietnam.
Barbara and Harry were married April 4, 1970. Following graduation from Porterville College, he worked in the citrus industry. He retired as a house manager for Visalia Citrus Packers. Harry loved gardening, music, woodworking, attending his children's and grandchildren's activities and Sunday dinners with his family.
He was a member of St. Anne's Church and belonged to a bible study group that met regularly for 19 years. He was a past member of Monache Athletic Boosters and dedicated many hours for the improvement of facilities and sports programs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Nelda Likewise and his brother William (Bill) Likewise. He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Gerald (Deneen) Likewise, Christopher Likewise and his beloved grandchildren Bailey, Brianna and Patrick. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Overholt and her husband Richard.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Myers Chapel at 6:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
