Judy Funderburk Obituary

Judy Funderburk

Judy Funderburk, age 84, passed away on October 12 at her apartment in Sierra Hills.

She was the widow of Dale Funderburk. They were married for 46 years. Born in Porterville, she was the daughter of Horace and Cleo Wilson. She graduated from Porterville High School in 1959 and was a psychiatric technician at Porterville Developmental Center for many years. She was a deacon at the Baptist Church and

sang in the choir at the Baptist and Nazarene churches in Porterville. She also served on the board of the Christian Womens Club. She enjoyed reading, decorating, walking,

and making crafts. She is survived by her children, Stacy St. Clair (Mike), Jill

Funderburk-Davis (Bill), Chris Funderbur (Channing), and Stephen Funderburk (Heather), and nine grandchildren. Judy is also survived by a brother, Lanny Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Funderburk.

A memorial service will be held at Porterville Funeral and Cremation Center on

Tuesday, October 21, at 10:00.
