Patricia Dunlap Obituary
She leaves her husband, Daniel Dunlap and three daughters: Danelle Dunlap of Santa Maria; Misty Vorrel of Reno, NV.; And Christy Scott of Ironton, OH.; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Her mother Shirley Sinyard, stepfather Terry Sinyard of Porterville.
Her father Darrel Honeyman proceeded her in death. Her sisters Cheryl Gordon of Paso Rolbles, Tyia Padilla of Porterville and brother Leroy Honeyman of Bakersfield.
Patty graduated from Porterville High in 1975. They moved to Santa Maria where Patty worked in property management. Later moved to Fort Maine where she worked in a casino in Laughlin.
Six years ago she had a double lung transplant and many other health problems, but she would always go right back to work. Nothing seemed to stop her until she got cancer. Because of the transplant she wasn't able to have some treatments, so she chose quality of life for the time she had left. After years of living in the desert she wanted to move where it was cool, and she could watch her flowers grow and hear the breeze in the pine trees. They were only there one month, but she was truly happy.
Patty donated her body to science hoping it would help others. Patty's body maybe dead but her spirit will never die as long as those who love her remain.
A celebration of life will be held on June 5, 2022 at Porterville VFW Hall.

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I worked with her for several years in Sana Maria and it was a pleasure knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn her loss.
