The funeral service for Dallas Marshall II, age 77, of Washington CH, was held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Brookes officiating, Pastor at the Grace United Methodist Church in Washington CH.
Pallbearers for burial at the Highlawn Cemetery were Steve Vermillion, Darcy Trimmer, Josh Trimmer, Ryan Lynch, Evan Lynch, and Terry Copas.
Military honors were bestowed by the Honor Guard of Fayette County. The prayer was offered by Eddie Fisher. Members of the honor guard included Phil French, Tom Payne, Glenn Rankin, Bob Everhart, Cecil Ratliff, Dave Frederick, Larry Cruea, and Tom Slager with Bill Foody serving as commander. The flag of the United States Army Veteran was folded by Mike Curl and Paul Sands and was presented to his wife, Mrs. Marlene Marshall. Taps were sounded by Zeke Zastrow and Larry Bishop.
Mr. Marshall passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at his home. The family wishes to thank everyone for their heartfelt kindness during this difficult time. Arrangements were under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
