Gerald Wackman Obituary
The funeral for Gerald Richard "Jerry" Wackman, 85, of Washington Court House, Ohio was held Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Carey G. Hilterbran, minister at the Trinity Full Gospel Church in Sabina, officiating. Margie Christian sang "If You Knew" and read a poem. The service was closed with the choir from the Trinity Full Gospel Church singing "I'll Fly Away."
Pallbearers for the burial in Washington Cemetery were Franklin Deskins, Deskins Campbell, Scott and Gary Brown, Connor and Gabe Shirkey.
Jerry, former co-owner of the J & J Restaurant and widower of Ruth Ann Cottrell Wackman, died Monday, December 15, 2014, shortly after arrival at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

Jerry was a great relative and friend to all. He was a real gentleman, honest as could be, and among the most thoughtful people we know. He was a Buckeye through and through, and a dedicated family man. Everyone will miss him desperately. Beverly, the kids, and I will never forget his smile.
