Hannah Louise Stookey, 93, of Chillicothe passed away 8:59 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2018 at Signature Health Care Center.
She was born August 28, 1925, in Fayette County to the late Floyd D. and Nellie C. Emrick Stookey.
Surviving a niece, Melody (Bill) Knoles, of Chillicothe; a great-niece, Megan Brown; a great-nephew, Chase Knoles and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Stookey; a sister, Ruth Vivian Stookey and sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Andrew Slozat and Mae and Wayne Irvin.
Hannah retired from National Glove and was member of the former Rose Avenue Wesleyan Church in Washington Court House.
She enjoyed her time at Signature Health Care where the staff became her extended family. She was a loving and devoted aunt who kept our lives full of fun and laughter. Her loving and lively personality keep everyone smiling and on their toes. She will be missed.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 in Washington Cemetery, Washington C.H., Ohio with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, September 21, 2018.

sorry for your loss.Louise was a first cousin, Nell and my father was broth & sister. Fathers name Raymond Emrick. Remember going to church with Aunt Nell and her girls, when I was a small boy
