Jerry Lynn Mouser, 67, of Washington Court House died Sunday, Sept. 21, at 11:36 a.m. at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus where he had been a patient one day. He had been in failing health.
Jerry was born Dec. 20, 1946, in Columbus to Norman R. and Janice Lee Donohoe Mouser. He lived most of his life in Pickaway and Fayette Counties.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brande Mallow in 2009; by his father, Norman R. Mouser in 1990, and an infant brother, Shawn Lee Mouser.
Jerry is survived by his wife, the former Marianna Lower whom he married November 14, 1971; a daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Tim Bateson and a son, Shawn Mouser, all of Washington Court House; six grandchildren, Gavin, Gage, Chase, Blake and Gunner Mallow and Troy Bateson; his mother, Janice L. Mouser of Williamsport and a brother, Gregory Mouser of Williamsport.
The funeral will be Wednesday, September 24, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland with the Pastor James H. Pollard, minister at the Kingston Church of Christ in Christian Union, officiating. Burial will follow in the New Holland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in New Holland Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
