LINDA ELLEN BROWN, age 80, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
She was born on February 12, 1943 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Jay C. Bryant and Mabel J. (Hays) Duvall. She attended Williamsport High School. Linda worked as a Librarian at Carnegie Public Library for 31 years, she retired in 2018. Linda was a dedicated longtime member at the Heritage Memorial Church. She had a passion for teaching children about God. She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds, reading, going to Church, and spending time with her loving family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Duvall.
Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Brown, whom she married on September 5, 1959; her son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Tammy Brown; grandchildren, Jordan Brown, and Madison (Mike) Pacinda; great-grandchildren, Chaney Brown, Marley Brown, Eloise Harris, and Oakes Pacinda; and siblings, Janice Webb, Joyce Perry (John) White, Donnarae Gibson, Charles (Jennifer) Duvall; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Pat) Brown. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be held at the Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport, Ohio at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Ohio's Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160.

I first met linda when she delivered books to my house from the library. She became a very good friend. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met, so caring and always wanting to help you. I will keep all of her family in my prayers the good lord will have a good place for her,
